The successful candidate will combine creative design expertise with professional video editing skills to create impactful marketing materials, digital campaigns, promotional videos, and multimedia content that align with the organization’s goals.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Graphics Designer & Video Editor, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality visual content for both digital and print platforms. You will collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop creative assets that enhance the company’s brand presence and effectively communicate its products and services.
This role is ideal for a creative professional who is passionate about visual storytelling, understands current design trends, and can manage multiple projects while delivering exceptional results within deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Graphic Design
- Design creative marketing materials for both print and digital platforms.
- Develop engaging social media creatives, flyers, banners, brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Ensure all creative outputs align with the company’s brand identity and visual guidelines.
- Create compelling layouts, illustrations, and visual concepts for campaigns.
2. Video Production & Editing
- Edit high-quality promotional, marketing, and social media videos.
- Produce motion graphics, animations, and engaging multimedia content where required.
- Capture and edit video footage for events, products, interviews, and promotional campaigns.
- Add appropriate sound effects, transitions, subtitles, and visual enhancements to improve audience engagement.
3. Brand Management
- Maintain consistency across all visual communication materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative concepts for campaigns and product launches.
- Ensure all creative assets accurately reflect the company’s messaging and objectives.
4. Content Development
- Support the creation of visual content for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and advertisements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging design techniques, and creative technologies.
- Recommend innovative ideas that improve brand visibility and audience engagement.
5. Project Coordination
- Manage multiple design and video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain digital creative assets and project files.
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and management teams to execute creative projects efficiently.
CANDIDATE PROFILE: WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or relevant certification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years of professional experience in graphic design and video editing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative design projects and video productions.
- Experience working in a creative agency or corporate marketing environment is an added advantage.
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent design and video editing software.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, branding, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and social media content creation.
- Basic photography and videography skills are an added advantage.
