As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account / Admin Officer to support its finance and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid accounting background, practical accounting experience, and excellent organizational skills to ensure the smooth running of daily financial and administrative operations.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Account / Admin Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the company’s accounting processes while ensuring efficient day-to-day administrative operations. You will manage financial records, process transactions, prepare reports, and provide administrative support that contributes to the organization’s overall efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
  • Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Process daily financial transactions and ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management.
  • Support monthly financial reporting and budget tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting procedures.

2. Administrative Operations

  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative activities.
  • Maintain office records, files, and documentation.
  • Manage office supplies and support procurement processes.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare reports, and maintain correspondence.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.

3. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain confidential financial and administrative records.
  • Ensure proper filing of financial documents and statutory records.
  • Support internal and external audit processes when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

4. Office Coordination

  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and service providers where necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to management and other departments.
  • Handle assigned administrative and finance-related projects efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting and administrative experience.
  • Candidates with less than 1 year or more than 3 years of experience will not be considered.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and financial record management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using accounting software is an added advantage.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
