Job Title: Store Officer

About The Role
- We are seeking a responsible, organised, and detail-oriented Store Officer to manage the haulage department’s store, materials, tools, equipment, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of store items and materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and stock balances.
- Safeguard company assets, tools, equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate requests for replenishment when necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation and authorization for all stock movements.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
- Track the allocation and return of tools, equipment, and other company assets.
- Report shortages, damages, losses, or irregularities promptly.
- Maintain proper organisation, cleanliness, and security of the store.
- Support periodic inventory and asset audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and store management procedures.
Requirements
- OND / HND / B.Sc. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5-10 years experience in storekeeping, inventory management, logistics, or a related role.
- Good knowledge of inventory and stock control procedures.
- Strong documentation, numerical, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Experience in oil & gas, haulage, engineering, or a related industry will be an advantage.
