Position: Base Transceiver Station (BTS) Head
Job Summary
Internet Solutions Nigeria Limited (ISN) is seeking an experienced and proactive Base Transceiver Station (BTS) Head to oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of BTS infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead technical teams, ensure high network availability, and drive operational excellence while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
Supervise engineers to ensure timely and accurate task execution.
Coordinate field operations and ensure project timelines are achieved.
Oversee BTS installations and prevent repeat faults.
Monitor network links and trunks to maintain maximum uptime.
Conduct and review site surveys to ensure quality installations.
Manage inventory records and submit monthly stock reports.
Prepare daily operational reports and monitor fault resolution.
Troubleshoot network issues and escalate when necessary.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain operational standards.
Ensure compliance with Odoo ERP processes and field service procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in BTS or network infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G, and wireless transmission systems.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple field operations in a fast-paced environment.
