Bell Oil and Gas Limited, a leading indigenous oilfield services company, is recruiting a skilled Machining and Welding Technician to support valve manufacturing, welding, fabrication, and repair operations.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will perform welding, machining, fabrication, and repair of industrial valves and related components while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare materials for machining and welding operations.
• Operate welding and machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Execute welding and fabrication projects.
• Review engineering drawings and welding procedures.
• Develop welding procedures to support production activities.
• Perform valve modifications and machining repairs.
• Conduct welding failure analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Fabricate valve bodies, bonnets, and associated components.
• Maintain quality standards and workplace safety.
Requirements
• OND/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Welding & Fabrication, or a related discipline.
• Trade Test, City & Guilds, or relevant welding certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ industrial welding experience.
• Proficiency in SMAW (Arc), GTAW (TIG), and GMAW (MIG) welding processes.
• Experience operating manual lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Practical experience in valve repair and machining.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Experience in industrial valve repair is an added advantage.
