Position: Finance Specialist – Controllership
Job Summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Finance Specialist – Controllership to drive technical accounting compliance, strengthen internal controls, improve financial processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting across the West Africa region.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting processes across inventory, revenue, receivables, payables, and intercompany transactions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory regulations.
Lead controllership initiatives and finance improvement projects.
Advise business leaders on accounting processes and policies.
Collaborate with corporate finance teams on accounting standards implementation.
Maintain compliance with local statutory requirements and US GAAP.
Strengthen internal controls and resolve SOX deficiencies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ finance experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience in a Finance Controllership role.
Knowledge of SAP and Oracle.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
