About the Role

A family in Lekki, Lagos, is looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced Nanny to care for their child(ren) in a safe, loving, and structured home. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive and trustworthy. She will support the child(ren)’s daily wellbeing, routines and early development, and keep the parents regularly informed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive day-to-day care and supervision of the child(ren).
  • Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, bathing and bedtime.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
  • Keep the child(ren)’s rooms, clothing, feeding items and play areas clean, hygienic and well organised.
  • Engage the child(ren) in age-appropriate play, learning and developmental activities.
  • Communicate regularly with the parents on the child(ren)’s needs, behaviour, health and progress.
  • Carry out light childcare-related housekeeping, including the child(ren)’s laundry and toy organisation.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Nanny or Childcare Provider, with verifiable references.
  • Female, preferably aged 22-30.
  • Genuine love for children; patient, dependable, respectful and discreet.
  • Able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
  • Experience caring for infants or toddlers is a strong advantage.
  • Willing to live in with the family.
  • Resident in Lagos or willing to relocate to Lekki.
  • Able to provide a credible guarantor and a valid means of identification.
