Job Summary
The Front Desk Officer / Secretary will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional reception while providing administrative and secretarial support to the firm’s legal team. The role also involves preparing documents, handling court filings, managing correspondence, and supporting the firm’s online presence through basic video editing and social media content posting.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Welcome and attend to clients, visitors, and other guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries while directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform general secretarial and administrative duties, including typing, filing, and document management.
- Prepare, organize, and file legal documents and court processes as required.
- Assist with filing court documents at the appropriate courts and government agencies.
- Edit short videos and prepare digital content for publication on the firm’s social media platforms.
- Maintain office records and ensure proper organization of files and correspondence.
- Support lawyers with routine administrative tasks and scheduling where necessary.
- Ensure the reception area remains organized and presentable at all times.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Good typing and document preparation skills.
- Basic video editing skills and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Candidates must reside within Ajah, Sangotedo, or nearby areas in Lagos.
Salary
₦60,000 per month
