Shulifang Biotechnology is a fast-growing company situated in the Lekki Free Zone, Lagos State. We are into the production of FMCG products such as Detergent, liquid soap, edible oil, PET bottles, face powder, perfumes, etc.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Chinese Chef and Kitchen Assistant
Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
The Candidate must have the following qualities
Strong Chinese Cuisine Skills:
- Good knowledge of Chinese dishes and cooking methods.
- Ability to prepare dishes such as fried rice, noodles, stir-fry, dumplings, soups, and other traditional Chinese meals.
Good Taste & Seasoning:
- Excellent understanding of seasoning, spices, sauces, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to maintain consistent taste and quality.
Food Hygiene & Safety:
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness.
- Proper handling, storage, and preparation of food.
- Keeps the kitchen and cooking equipment clean.
Menu Knowledge:
- Able to follow existing recipes accurately.
- Can suggest new Chinese dishes and improve menus when necessary.
Time Management:
- Able to prepare meals on schedule.
- Can work efficiently during busy periods.
Ingredient Management:
- Knows how to select fresh ingredients.
- Minimizes food wastage and controls kitchen costs.
Discipline & Reliability:
- Punctual and responsible.
- Able to follow company rules and instructions.
- Trustworthy and committed to the job.
Teamwork:
- Able to work respectfully with kitchen assistants, cleaners, and other staff.
- Good communication skills.
Experience
- Preferably 2–5 years of experience as a Chinese chef.
- Experience working in restaurants, hotels, factories, or private kitchens is an advantage.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
