JOBPLACE.NG (Globalclique - HireAfrica Ltd) Employer Verification Policy
1. Purpose
Jobplace.NG is committed to protecting job seekers from fraudulent recruitment activities by ensuring that only legitimate and verified employers are permitted to publish job vacancies on the platform. This Policy establishes the verification standards and legal obligations required for all employers.
2. Employer Verification Requirement
All employers, recruiters, and third-party agents must successfully complete the verification process before any job listing can be published on Jobplace.NG. Verification is a mandatory precondition for access to employer-related platform features.
3. Required Employer Information
All employers must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information, including but not limited to:
- Registered Company Name
- Employer Profile or Company Overview
- Company Website or verifiable online presence (where available)
- Valid Business Registration (CAC Certificate or equivalent legal documentation)
- Official Employer Identification (Company ID or Government-issued ID)
- Verified Contact Information (active email address and phone number)
- Office Address or principal place of business
- Authorized Contact Person responsible for recruitment activities
4. Verification Process
- Employer submits all required documentation and information
- Jobplace.NG conducts internal review and validation checks
- Employer status is assigned as one of the following:
- Verified Employer
- Pending Review
- Rejected Employer
Only employers classified as Verified Employer are permitted to publish job vacancies on the platform.
5. Verification Rights and Discretion
Jobplace.NG reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide justification, to:
- Request additional documentation or clarification at any stage of the verification process
- Conduct independent background checks, due diligence, and risk assessments
- Approve, reject, suspend, or revoke verification status at any time
- Refuse verification where submitted information is incomplete, inconsistent, or deemed high-risk
6. Employer Representations and Warranties
By submitting information for verification, employers represent and warrant that:
- All information provided is true, accurate, current, and not misleading
- They are duly registered and authorized to operate under applicable laws
- They have the legal authority to recruit and publish job vacancies
- They will comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
7. Employer Responsibilities
All verified employers are required to:
- Provide accurate, transparent, and lawful job descriptions
- Maintain ethical and professional recruitment practices
- Avoid deceptive, misleading, or exploitative job postings
- Ensure that all communications with candidates are legitimate and lawful
Any breach of these responsibilities, including the submission of false or misleading information, shall result in immediate enforcement action, including but not limited to account suspension, permanent blacklisting, and reporting to relevant authorities.
8. Ongoing Monitoring and Verification Validity
Employer verification is subject to continuous monitoring and may be reviewed, suspended, or revoked at any time under the following circumstances:
- Receipt of complaints or reports from users
- Changes in business status, ownership, or operations
- Violation of Jobplace.NG policies or applicable laws
- Failure to respond to re-verification requests
9. Enforcement and Legal Action
Jobplace.NG reserves the right to take all necessary enforcement actions against any employer found to be in violation of this Policy, including but not limited to:
- Immediate removal of job listings
- Suspension or permanent termination of employer accounts
- Permanent blacklisting from the platform
- Reporting to regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies
- Initiation of civil or criminal legal proceedings where applicable
10. Limitation of Liability
While Jobplace.NG undertakes reasonable efforts to verify employers, it does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of information provided by employers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobplace.NG shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from employer conduct, job listings, or recruitment activities.
11. Indemnification
Employers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jobplace.NG, its affiliates, officers, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from their use of the platform, breach of this Policy, or violation of any applicable law.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.
