JOBPLACE.NG (Globalclique - HireAfrica Ltd) Anti-Scam Recruitment Policy

1. Zero Tolerance Policy

Jobplace.NG maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward recruitment fraud, impersonation, deceptive practices, and any form of exploitative employment activity. All users of the platform are required to adhere strictly to this Policy as a condition of access and use.

2. Prohibited Job Listings

The following activities and listings are strictly prohibited on Jobplace.NG:

  • Fake, misleading, or non-existent employment opportunities
  • Any job requiring payment, deposits, or financial commitment from applicants
  • Referral-based income schemes or pyramid-style recruitment structures
  • Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) recruitment offers
  • Investment or financial solicitation disguised as employment
  • Cryptocurrency, forex trading, or speculative trading recruitment offers
  • Data harvesting, phishing, or unauthorized collection of personal information
  • Jobs promoting illegal, unsafe, or unregulated activities
  • Adult, immoral, or otherwise unethical service promotions

3. Candidate Protection Measures

  • Mandatory verification of employers prior to job publication
  • Continuous monitoring and audit of job listings
  • Immediate removal of suspicious or non-compliant listings
  • Prompt investigation of reported employers and vacancies
  • Permanent banning of repeat or confirmed offenders

4. Reporting Mechanism

Users may report suspicious jobs or employers through the following channels:

  • Official Jobplace.NG email
  • Platform contact form
  • Designated WhatsApp reporting channel

5. Enforcement Actions

Jobplace.NG reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to take any of the following enforcement actions in response to violations:

  • Immediate removal of job listings
  • Suspension or termination of employer or user accounts
  • Permanent blacklisting from the platform
  • Restriction of access to platform services
  • Reporting of offending users to relevant regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies

6. Legal Compliance and Binding User Agreement

By accessing, browsing, or using Jobplace.NG, all users (including employers, recruiters, and job seekers) acknowledge and agree that:

  • This Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement between the user and Jobplace.NG
  • They shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including but not limited to laws relating to fraud, cybercrime, and data protection
  • Any violation of this Policy may result in civil and/or criminal liability under applicable Nigerian laws

Jobplace.NG reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against any user found to be in violation of this Policy and to cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities in the investigation and prosecution of such violations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Jobplace.NG acts solely as an intermediary platform and does not guarantee the authenticity, accuracy, or legality of job listings posted by third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobplace.NG shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from user interactions, employment engagements, or reliance on any information posted on the platform.

8. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jobplace.NG, its owners, affiliates, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with their use of the platform or violation of this Policy.

9. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy or the use of Jobplace.NG shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.

10. Platform Commitment

Jobplace.NG will never request or require job seekers to pay any fees for accessing employment opportunities. Users are advised to report any such requests immediately.
